I just finished the first installation of Windows 2012 RTM. As you can see in the first screenshot bellow, Microsoft offer two main Editions of Windows 2012: Standard and Datacenter. The only difference between the two editions is the Hyper-V capabilities: Standard Edition: - Full Windows Server functionality with two virtual instances. Datacenter Edition - Full Windows Server functionality with unlimited virtual instances.
