The Mojave Experiment

יום שני, יולי 28, 2008

Last week, for 3 day somewhere in San Francisco, Microsoft conducted a marketing experiment for the next version of Windows code name "Mojave". Microsoft gathered over 120 computer users (common folks - consumers not the usual computer experts) whom are all critics of Windows Vista. The promise was to give them all a sneak peak of Windows Vista successor and use their criticism to build a better product. Windows Mojave was Windows Vista. The same product. The critics did not seem to realize and apparently loved the new operating system. More than 90% gave positive feedback on the operating system...

Where is my freaking WPF Data Grid?

יום ראשון, פברואר 18, 2007

Why oh why Microsoft didn’t include few additional useful controls in the latest WPF release? It looks like this line of action is intentional, but never the less, the lack of common “standard” controls like data grid, and charts is anointing at best. WPF is so powerful, that one may think there is no need to create custom controls like we did with Win Forms. You can find all both presentation and the source code for my demos:...

Well Reflector fans out there, now you can do all of that and much more. There are a...

יום רביעי, אוקטובר 11, 2006

Windows Vista, Microsoft’s new operating system, brings many new cool features. The rigorous security includes a very cool...
