Third Year in a Row
Third Year in a Row Yesterday I received the mail from Microsoft that congratulate me for being a Microsoft MVP for the third time. It’s is a honor for me to get the award three years in a row. This time the receiving of the mail was somewhat weird since I saw on Twitter that people got the mail and I didn’t get it… Apparently, my Gmail mail account (which is my personal mail account) “thought” that the congratulation mail is spam and moved it into the spam directory. This of course shows the true...

My new ideal workplace
In my last post (which was way too long ago), I've wrote what is my ideal workplace. After a while I found it! After a series of interviews I was hired by Sears Israel as a software developer for Sears Social . Sears Social is a new social experience which creates a new shopping experience using your social connections. After only a couple of months, I have to tell you – I made the right choice. This place is amazing! Great professional people, Agile practices and great atmosphere. It was pretty...

Four More Years! (And then some more please)
Me and the blog, we're celebrating 4 years together. It's been quite a hectic year for me personally, but the blog was there all along. It was being it's old supportive, giving and stable self all along. And I love it for it. Still, I thought this would make for a good chance for us to get to know you! I remember seeing (and loving) this post from Adam Machanic and thinking - he hit the nail straight on the head. Whether you're new here, just popped by for a visit or have been a long...

Moving on…
In a month I will be leaving my current position in my company. After six and so years it is time to move on. In the last couple of months I've been thinking about where I would like to work – what is the ideal workplace for me? Experienced and talented people from whom I can learn An interesting an compelling product – I think it is very important to believe I what you do. Agile environment, a team and management which believes in the agile process A place where I can have fun doing what I love...

MIX11 Winning Open Call Sessions Were Announced
MIX11 Winning Open Call Sessions Were Announced The MIX11 Open Call phase is over and there are twelve winning sessions . My proposed sessions didn’t make it to the final twelve but this was a competition and the best sessions won. From the list of twelve sessions that won, I’ll defiantly attend Elijah Manor’s “Good JavaScript Habits for C# Developers” session and Maarten Balliauw’s “Fun with ASP.NET MVC 3 and MEF” session (they got my vote while I was voting). I want to thank whoever vote...

MIX11 Open Call Voting Has Started Today
MIX11 Open Call Voting Has Started Today MIX conference is the biggest Microsoft web conference which occurs every year in Las Vegas. As in every year Microsoft asked the developers and designers communities to propose sessions that will be part of a community voting. The sessions that will be chosen will be performed on stage at this year’s conference. Since I’m going to MIX11 as in last year, I proposed two sessions and they were chosen to the open call voting. This is the session descriptions...

Teched Israel 2010 – Day One
Teched Israel 2010 – Day One Yesterday’s morning I had a flight to Eilat to my first Teched Israel. I arrived after noon so I missed Jason Zander’s keynotes … I wanted to attend this session but my flight schedule was at noon. I thought I’ll make it but the flight got a delay (and oops you miss the show)… After I’ve checked-in in my hotel and checked-in in the presenters check-in place, I had a free afternoon so I jumped to the royal suite in the Royal Beach hotel. If you are one of the lucky VIPs...
