Symbolic link to the rescue

I mentioned before that in one of the projects I consulting there is a dependency on some outer system, the dependency is a must have and this means that some dll references needs to reference to another directory. like most projects, the only thing that is constant is change. At first, I was told that the external application will always be located at "C:\ExternalApp".But, as always, suddenly things didn't compile for one of the developers.
