Today I’ve started a new journey and a new page in my professional life. While I’m still working with SELA Group, I’m also working in my own company, sparXys. I hope that the future for me in sparXys, will bring new opportunities and new challenges. If you are looking for a senior web consultant who loves hands-on and coding you can contact me.

A Life Sign

Thursday, January 30, 2014

A Life Sign If you are following my Blog you probably notice that I didn’t write a post for a long time. Just wanted to let you know that I’m alive and there are a few things that kept me very busy in the last two months. One of those things is a Single Page Application (SPA) book that I’m co-authoring that will be announced soon (hopefully). I didn’t forget you, my Blog readers, and expect new posts and articles in the near future.

Technology And Friends Interview

Monday, November 11, 2013

Technology And Friends Interview When I was in DevConnections on October, I had the pleasure to be interviewed by David Giard to his Technology And Friends show. First of all I met a great person – David you rock! More than that, this is my first English interview (I had some in Hebrew in the past) and we did it in one shot. You can watch the interview here: Or you can go to Technology And Friends show website and watch the interview and other great technologists interviews.

Copying Content in The Name of Naming Recognition

Tuesday, September 17, 2013

Copying Content in The Name of Naming Recognition This post is a little off topic. Yesterday I saw a tweet of some respectful community leader who published a link to some other guy’s article. So I went to read the article and saw the same demo code and a lot of phrases I used in an article I published a year ago in the same subject. It isn’t the first time someone is copying my content. On the other hand, most of the people who copied my content had the dignity to reference my blog/article. This guy didn’t...

My DevConnections Trip Was Cancelled

Tuesday, October 30, 2012

My DevConnections Trip Was Cancelled First of all, I want to start with an apology to the DevConnections attendees for not making it to the conference. The arrival to the conference was very important to me and I had no luck. On Saturday, I changed my scheduled flight to a later flight this week because of the news about Sandy hurricane. Both the original flight and the new flight were cancelled, and due to that I couldn’t attend the conference. As a speaker, I feel awful because I worked very hard to create cool sessions....

The story Begins

Saturday, April 21, 2012

The story Begins Lately, I’ve decided to write my own JavaScript library for educational and experimental purposes. The idea came to me while I was creating a demo to a session that I will deliver in the near future. In the session, I wanted to show how to use different JavaScript storage types and didn’t wanted to change my code every time for every storage type. So I’ve created a library to handle client-side data storages in simple and consistent way. The library is called story.js and its first bits are hosted in GitHub. Right now...

Third Year in a Row

Sunday, October 2, 2011

Third Year in a Row Yesterday I received the mail from Microsoft that congratulate me for being a Microsoft MVP for the third time. It’s is a honor for me to get the award three years in a row. This time the receiving of the mail was somewhat weird since I saw on Twitter that people got the mail  and I didn’t get it… Apparently, my Gmail mail account (which is my personal mail account) “thought” that the congratulation mail is spam and moved it into the spam directory. This of course shows the true relationship between Google and Microsoft...
