The next phase in converting my SCCM Right Click Tools to the new SCCM version (System Center Configuration Manager 2012), is adjusting the ConfigMgr Collection Tools .
The ConfigMgr 2012 SDK , served me very well, and helped me make some interface changes as well as scripting code adjustments:
The tools can be reached from the ribbon and/or from the context menu:
Selecting a collection invokes the SCCM Tools ribbon
Now you can re-run not just advertisements, but also application deployments :
I added new collection reports to the right click tools :
A new setup page is included in the setup program – "Report Server Settings", which enables you to enter your reporter details:
- The console automatically recognizes the site server name, so if your report server is the site server you do not have to fill in its name
- The default port is 80
- The default virtual report server folder name is ReportServer
- For more information about these tools read the following post – SCCM 2007 Collection Right Click Tools
Download SCCM 2012 Collection Tool setup file from HERE
It is highly recommended to test first, in a test environment, before deploying in production

hi
Installed on my local machíne where I have the adminconsole 2012 installed. After installation nothing is integrated on my local adminconsole. On the Server it is working perfectly. Any idea’s why?
Can you add Shutdown/Reboot option in System context menu. Thanks
I have both Console Versions installed (SCCM 2007 & SCCM 2012) and the XML-Extensions are copied to the wrong directory:
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Configuration Manager Console\AdminUI\XmlStorage\Extensions\Actions” (this is SCCM 2007 console)
instead of
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Configuration Manager\AdminConsole\XmlStorage\Extensions\Actions” (this is SCCM 2012 console)
To correct this, I just copied the folders “a92615d6-9df3-49ba-a8c9-6ecb0e8b956b” and “3785759b-db2c-414e-a540-e879497c6f97” to the 2012 console folder.
No joy installing the tools to SC 2012 R2 – ConfigMgr.
