גם יפה וגם גיימרית. טינה מראה דמו של F.E.A.R כאשר היא לבד בבית כל האורות סגורים תו"כ שהיא מצלמת (את המשחק, אלה מה חשבתם?!), היא גם לא מפסיקה לקלל. כבר לא מוצאים בחורות כאלו...
I'm not going to add fuel to this, BUT I think you're missing an important issue.
You are mixing private people with public government, when that happens things can’t look right. Who’s happy with war??
I have a good friend who died 7 weeks ago in that war (http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/blogs/RememberNimrod, He was a Microsoft employee that worked also in Europe, the last thing you can say about him is that he hated anyone.
Indeed looking from the outside is never the same. Europe hasn't been under threat for the last 60 years - so nobody remembers how it is to be threatened, how it is to leave your daily routine of life and join the reserve forces and go to a different country just to stop somebody from throwing bombs.
Children died, friends died, people died.
War is not a good thing for anyone, BUT mixing this with a business company that has nothing to do with government/army decisions is stupid.
So WIM, I suggest that you will stop using ICQ/CheckPoint firewalls/Microsoft Firewalls/ MSMQ/ Stop searching in SharePoint/ Stop using Symbian OS/ Stop using PHP and start looking under all that software that has anything to do with Israel under your pc.
It’s most likely that you’re using a CPU that was partially designed at Intel here in Israel.
Oh and not to mention Flash Memory discs (have any Nano IPOD/Disc on Key??).
And for me, I’m still going to eat Belgian Chocolate because you're damn good at doing it, and there’s nothing stupid your government can do to stop me from eating it.
הנושא הזה עלה מספר פעמים עם לקוחות שהתקשרו לתמיכה המקומית ושאלו האם תהיה תמיכה ב VB6 בויסטה.
השאלה יכולה להטעות טיפה. האם מדובר על סביבת הפיתוח או על ה RunTime של VB6 - כלומר האם ירוצו אפליקציות שכתבו ב VB6.
אז התשובה המשמחת היא שה Runtime של VB6 כבר נמצא בויסטה והוא נתמך, לגבי סביבת הפיתוח - החל מ 2008 מיקרוסופט כבר לא תתמוך במוצר.

יש אתר מאוד שימושי לגבי משך התמיכה שלנו במוצרים.
סוף סוף זה זמין לכל משתמשי Windows בארץ, אנחנו בערך המדינה היחידה בעולם שלא מסוגלת להחליט מראש על תאריך מסודר שבו יתחלף שעון חורף/קיץ. לכן בערך כל חצי שנה יוצא עדכון קטן שמתקן את העניין.

Microsoft Interop Forms Toolkit 1.0
This toolkit is aimed at simplifying the use of Visual Basic.NET WinForms within a Visual Basic 6 application. The toolkit is targeted specifically at providing tools and guidance for performing a phased migration of a VB6 forms-based application to VB.NET. The goal of a phased migration is a production release at the end of each phase that has both VB6 and .NET forms running in the same VB6 .exe process.
Microsoft PrintForm Component 1.0
The PrintForm component is designed to bring back the ability to easily print a Windows Form. With this the new PrintForm component you can once again layout the Windows Form exactly as you want it and allow your users to print the form as a quick report.

היו לנו עוד שתי ישיבות של סיעור מוחות והתייעצות לגבי האירוע של ינואר. בתמונה משמאל גלית שחף מנצחת על הרעיונות (ויש לה די הרבה).
צופית (אשת ההפקות שלנו) מסכמת הכל. ורונן סמוכה שמקשיב בסבלנות.
יומיים לאחר מכן הזמנו לכאן כמה אנשים מהקהילה שבטח תזהו:
לאון לנגלייבן, אלון פליס, מתן הולצר, גדי מאיר, אייל ורדי, אוהד ישראלי, גיא בורשטיין, נעם קינג וכמה אנשים מהצוות שלי.
עלו המון רעיונות טובים, דיברנו בעיקר על התכנים, מה צריך להיות ומה לא. אחד הדברים שנעשה בימים הקרובים הוא סקר עם רשימת נושאים כדי למקד אותנו יותר.
מסתבר שיש עוד מישהו שחושב לעשות דברים אחרת, אני אחסוך מכם את התקציר, אפשר לקרוא על כמה רעיונות מאוד מעניינים של דויד לם.
אז סוף סוף זה יצא ואפשר להתחיל לפתח כמו שצריך מול Office 2007 (שעדיין לא יצא).

אני חונך Tag/קטגוריה חדשה בשם חם מהתנור, אנחנו מקבלים הרבה דיווחים על כל מיני מוצרים ו SDK שיוצאים לעולם, בקטגוריה אני אשתדל לעדכן על דברים שאני חושב שיכולים לעניין אתכם.
מייד הראשון עולה.
Joe Duffy מספר על פרוייקט שהוא עובד עליו כבר יותר משנה.
כולם כבר מכירים את LINQ שמאפשר להריץ שאילתות על אובייקטים מבלי להתעסק עם הצורה שבה חוקרים את האובייקט. אחת הבעיות החמות היום במדעי המחשב היא בעיית ה Multi Core/CPU, בגלל שאף אחד לא שואל אותנו באיזו צורה נרצה לקבל יותר כח מחשוב (יותר הרצים או יותר מעבדים) ובגלל שאנחנו לא ממש יודעים לכתוב קוד מרובה Thread-ים כמו שצריך (נראה אותכם עושים את זה בלי איזה Dead Lock אכזרי), שימוש שמחשבים מרובי ליבות/CPU בתחנות הקצה יכול לפעמים ליצור בעיות ולא שיפור ביצועים.
העניין הוא שאנחנו יודעים לכתוב קוד שרץ במקביל על כמה מעבדים בצד השרת בלי הרבה בעיות מהסיבה הפשוטה שהתרגלנו לכתוב קוד כאילו התהליך שלנו הוא היחיד בשרת. את הכח להחליט מה עושים במקרה של ריבוי תהליכים השארנו ל Application Server כמו IIS, COM+, J2EE וכו'.
תיכף מגיע LINQ ועידן השאילתות יפרוץ קדימה עם הזדמנות אדירה לשיפור ביצועים ללא הכאב ראש של הצורך להבין את הצנרת של אפליקציות מרובות Thread-ים. תארו לעצמכם שאותה שאילתה שכתבתם פשוט תרוץ יותר מהר על מחשב מרובה ליבות/מעבדים וככל שתעבדו יותר נתונים כך תראו שיפור גדול יותר. הסיבה היא פשוטה - הסמנטיקה שבה משתמשים ב LINQ לא רומזת על הדרך שבה באמת הדברים קורים מאחורי הקלעים, היא מספיק High Level כדי להשאיר את השליטה של "איך לעשות" בידי המערכת ואת השליטה של "מה לעשות" בידיים שלנו.
