Biztalk WCF-SQL adapter warning about bad configuration

"Microsoft.BizTalk.Adapter.Wcf.Converters.CreateBindingException: Unable to get binding type for binding extension "sqlBinding". Verify the binding extension is registered in machine.config."

Hi folks!

Couple of days ago, I've tried to run some application on a 64bit machine. The Application uses WCF-SQL adapter (64Bit installed with LOB SDK as prereq.)

After I've started an application, I've received a warning, which I never saw before, (of course not, didn't run this application on 64 bit machine before)

The warning was something like this: "Microsoft.BizTalk.Adapter.Wcf.Converters.CreateBindingException: Unable to get binding type for binding extension "sqlBinding". Verify the binding extension is registered in machine.config."

After a quick googling (oh thank you Google!!!) - I've found a solution on MSDN site.

But, really, logically, is it normal that I need to install both 32 and 64 bit versions of the same softaware on the same machine? Helloooo Microsoft? :)

Well, the solution is strange but fast: after you install LOB SDK for new adapters, you need to install both 32 and 64 bit versions of adapter WCF-SQL (in my case of course).

If you already have installed 64bit version - just add 32bit version as well.

Pay attention! - you cannot and needn't to install LOB SDK for 32 and 64 bit version machines, only 64bit. (Otherwise you get an error about "You have already installed LOB SDK, for continuing uninstall previous version" - you don"t need it.)
