בהרצאה זאת נסקור את מגוון המתקפות והאיומים בצד הלקוח, וכיצד ניתן לנצל את טכנולוגיות ה - Web 2 למימוש מתקפות אלו.
במהלך ההרצאה נסקור כלים לניתוח אירועים בצד הלקוח כגון client honey וכלים נוספים המאפשרים לבצע ניתוח מעמיק למתרחש בצד הלקוח.

What are web 2.0 attacks ? do you know how to defend against web 2.0 attacks? How is it related to man in the endpoint attack?

this session will be focused on how to defend against web 2.0 attacks and man in the endpoint attacks.

with technologies such as Ajax and Silverlight the client is much more involved, it’s no more protecting the server but now we will need to protect the client who’s on the public network.

Analysis Services Performance Tuning and Optimization

Description:

Improving the performances of the Analysis Services is one of the main tasks of the DBA. In this session I will discuss the methodology for monitoring the Analysis Services server performances and how to analyze and resolve the performance bottlenecks.

Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in most cases is a pretty complicated task. In this short training we do the first steps toward real analysis of the bottlenecks.

This is the very same methodology used at the Analysis Services Health Check, a thorough analysis of Analysis Services 2005 / 2008.

Debugging C++, Native and .NET Applications in the Field with  updated information on Vista, Windows-7 and 64-bit

At customer sites and in testing and QA labs, Visual Studio is not installed. Single-stepping an application is not a practical approach to catch an elusive bug at a production site with connected live users. Unfortunately, many bugs only reveal themselves in such environments. By using the freely available Debugging Tools for Windows package and the SOS extension, it is possible, without installation, to collect and analyze debug information. The presentation will explains everything a .NET programmer needs to know in order to utilize these valuable tools and techniques immediately. The session is loaded with practical information, demos, and it includes guidelines based on field experience Prerequisites

Gad J. Meir .R & D Manager, IDAG Ltd Gad J. Meir has worked in the computer industry for many years; his second computer language was assembly of PDP 8. His main specialty today is using MSF (Microsoft Solution Framework) principles to identify faults in development or deployment processes/procedures. Gad’s main task is to pre-empt problems in the project-planning phase. Unfortunately, he is usually summoned at the last minute, either when the project is about to die or worse still, for the post mortem. Dealing with corpses is directly connected with his second specialty, which is analyzing dumps, blue screens and other low-level plumbing tasks. Gad’s favorite role is accompanying projects as a technical mentor. In this position, he is exposed to a wide variety of challenging problems, where he uses his extensive hands-on experience to find creative practical solutions.   מחד, למנהל הפרויקט ולכל הגורמים העוסקים בפרויקט יש 'תפיסה' משלהם על מבנה הפרויקט והתהליכים בו. מאידך, הגאנט, מתאר את הפרויקט על תכולותיו והתהליכים שיתבצעו בו.
  השאלה המעניינת היא – האם שתי התמונות הנוצרות – התמונה אצל מנהל הפרויקט והתמונה בגאנט – זהות הן? ואיך ניתן למפות את הגאנט ולהבין מה היא תמונת הפרויקט שבו? שיטת HCP מבצעת ניתוח על הגאנט ובעזרתו משקפת את מבנה הפרויקט. עתה, ניתן להשוות את התוצאה מה- HCP ל'תפיסת' מנהל הפרויקט. אם התוצאה היא זהה – כי אז יש חשיבות לאישוש הבנת מבנה הפרויקט. אם התוצאה היא שונה (וזהו המצב השכיח), אזי התמודדות מוקדמת של מנהל הפרויקט עם הנושא, היא ערכית מאד לפרויקט ויכולה למנוע כשלים במהלך הפרויקט ולהביא להצלחת הפרויקט כולו.
  במהלך ההרצאה ינתן הסבר קצר על שיטת ה- HCP ויתוארו דוגמאות מהחיים על פרויקטים הן מתחום ההי-טק והן בתחום התשתיות – 'תפיסת המנהל' וניתוחי ה- HCP.

Developing Web Applications with DDC & MVC

This month we return take a look at some of the web development technologies from Microsoft - Dynamic Data Controls (DDC) and Model View Controller (MVC).

The new technology of ASP.NET DDC (Dynamic Data Controls) help us to build a presentation layer based on a data scheme in just a few minutes, and helps the developer and the architect to build a model based application that is scalable and easy to maintain.

In the second session, we will build an ASP.NET applications based on the new MVC Framework, and we’ll also see how DDC can save us a lot of working hours.
The new ASP.NET platform enforce the developers to separate between the data model, the presentation layer and the controller that sits between them, and is letting, among a lot of other cool features, to perform Red/Green tests with TDD (Test Driven Development) in an easy and quick way. In addition to that, we’ll look at the latest versions, and to the future ahead.

As always, we'll have our special "Hatzilu" session at our meeting. So please come prepared to discuss your most frustrating problems (or at least some of them!) and to share some of your own techniques and solutions that you have found useful in your applications.
