Just connected my HD7 device to Zune today, and guess what? I’ve got this lovely message:
Yea, finally I’m updating my Windows Phone to Mango final version 7720. Wish me a good luck.

While updating, my device restarted one time, and then got this message in Zune:
Waited about 10min and nothing!
I’ve clicked Cancel, disconnected and connected my phone again, then I’ve got this message:
It’s a beta cleanup update! I’ve clicked Update, my phone restarted and after ~2min I’ve got this:
Checking my Windows Phone OS version, I’ve got this:
Finally! my phone is happy to have Windows Phone Mango on it.
