MSBuild Sidekick 2.1 is available

Talk about Fools' Day joke - but on 1st of April we have released version 2.1 of MSBuild Sidekick . This version contains quite a few bug fixes, but we managed to put several new features in it too: When .Net schema version is selected in Build Options dialog, the application now will use the appropriate set of MSBuild assemblies for the build (previous version used 3.5 to build 2.0 schema projects when .Net 3.5 Framework was installed). That way build can be performed with exactly the same version...

Vista installation problem fixed

Great thanks to John Robbins for identifying the issue with the installation of MSBuild Sidekick v2 on Vista (the installation on Vista without admin privileges failed). As of December 7th, the issue was fixed. The updated installer can be downloaded here .

Team Foundation Sidekicks 1.3.3 is here

The version 1.3.3 of Team Foundation Sidekicks is available. Team Foundation Sidekicks service release 1.3.2 is available

The version 1.3.2 of Sidekicks was just released. The changes mostly relate to Labels Sidekick: BUGFIX: When comparing label and the latest version the comparison window was always empty It is now possible to sort list of labeled items in label properties It is possible to filter list of items in labels comparison to view only different items It is possible to save lists form label comparison window to CSV file If you are using Labels Sidekick, upgrade to a new version is highly recommended. New service releases are available

Today we have made public new releases of MSBuild Sidekick and Harvest Administrator Assistant . Those releases mostly contain bug fixes; Harvest Administrator Assistant v 1.1.0 also adds logging capability for all database modification SQLs. If you had any issues with those tools - check out new releases, and hopefully your issues will be resolved. If not, let us know. Team Foundation Sidekicks 1.2.2 service release is available

Version 1.2.2 of Team Foundation Sidekicks is released and available for download here . The version contains several bug fixes and addresses major issue with the application performance in TFS environment with large number of users. It was reported that in such environments the time elapsed before any Sidekick screen is opened may be very significant (up to several minutes). Team Foundation Sidekicks 1.2 fix for 64-bit

Thanks to users vigilance the bug with Team Foundation Sidekicks v 1.2 in 64-bit environment was identified; currently it is fixed and the updated version is available for download . Great thanks to Robert Beaubien, Paul Hester and Richard Berg. Additionally, several users complained of the application performance being unsatisfactory in environments with large numbers of TFS users. The problem is being solved and the fix for that issue will be released shortly. Stay tuned!
