This blog was created for presenting the Team Foundation Sidekicks related information to the VSTS community.
Team Foundation Sidekicks is a suite of tools for Team Foundation Server (TFS) administrators and advanced users, providing a graphical user interface for performing administrative tasks in multi-user TFS environments. Currently, the suite is made up of two applications, each focusing on a different aspect of TFS administration:
- Workspace Sidekick
- Status Sidekick
Latest release of Sidekicks suite containing both applications is available for download.
In the upcoming posts, we are planning to provide an overview of each of the Sidekicks applications, suggest usage scenarios and discuss future versions features.
Currently there are additional Sidekick applications in development, and next release is planned in June 2006. A preview of the new release will be made available through this blog, so we could collect feedback and improve upon the applications functionality – and eventually make administrating TFS a breeze.
