My PDC Session Schedule
I’ve landed in Los Angeles yesterday to attend the Microsoft PDC 2009, with a group of almost 20 Sela Group experts. We’re staying at a nice hotel, having lots of technical and non-technical conversations, buying the occasional gadget and preparing ourselves for the conference that starts tomorrow.
Here’s my PDC session schedule, obviously very tentative. There are lots of timeslots where I couldn’t make any decision – which says something about the amount of highly-sought, valuable, interesting technical information in this conference. If you’re at the PDC, feel free to drop by the Sela stand in the conference hall and say hi, or catch us in person!
Here’s Tuesday. I’m looking forward to hear about future language directions in C#, as well as DryadLINQ on HPC, the upcoming Application Server, and other topics.
Here’s Wednesday. There’s an awesome panel on the future of programming, and then the future of .NET GC which is a subject I am very interested in. I didn’t find any interesting session in the last timeslot – any recommendations?
Finally, here’s Thursday. Mostly looking forward to learning about the internals of UMS, about the new concurrency paradigms in Axum and about DirectCompute, an alternative (?) to CUDA.
See you around at the PDC!
