Exchange 2007 management tools do include the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in extension.
Many organization wonder why did this nice and useful tool included in Exchange 2003 – The Exchange Task wizard that could be invoked for the ADUC (Active Directory Users and Computers ) is missing.
I’m not sure for the explanation for this question but I think the main reason was the ability to separate some administrative responsibility between the Exchange administration and the Active Directory administration.
Most of the management that the Exchange 2003 Task Wizard is now done from the Exchange 2007 Management Console, still this user interface luck some important capabilities. The missing administrative capabilities of the Exchange 2007 user interface can be completed for the Exchange 2007 management shell, a powerful command line tool included with the Exchange 2007.
Since most administrators don’t want to write script and are not willing to learn the new shell interface I found a nice and useful tool that can fully manage the Exchange mailboxes form the ADUC (Active Directory Users and Computers). This tool can create new mailboxes, manage existing mailboxes and even perform some new nice tasks included only in Exchange 2007 SP1 like exporting user data into PST directly from the ADUC MMC Snap-in.
This small tool called the Exchange 2007 Task Wizard by u-bsmart.com runs power shell scripts to perform the management task asked the administrator. Since the tool uses the Exchange Management Shell there is no chance this tool can cause any damage for your Exchange environment.
I recommend to go to the www.u-bsmart.com web site and view this nice flash demo about this tool.

Enjoy this nice and useful tool.
