It is probably beacuse the post code is a look-up. I'm clensing addresses bu exporing the dynamic spreadsheet, as above, creating the look-up values directly in the database tables then updating the account records by reimporting the file. There are no error messages yet the post code field is not updating. Any help greatly appreciated.

We were all very excited to see this feature in "Titan" but disappointed to see it removed from CRM 4.0 when it was released. Although it has a few limitations (lookup fields, etc.), it's still a better option for many users than third-party data manipulation tools or using the SDK.

I tried this only with custom entities, which worked just fine. As you suggest, I suspect that out-of-the-box entities would not go through the same process correctly.

thanks for your quick reply!

Have you tried this before? (Exporting the whole customimzation file from base language English and import the whole file into base language "NON-English"?) I'm just wondering whether or not this would give problems for the standard entities of CRM...

Was it wrong to think that it was only supported to export/import customizatons from and to an environment that has the same base language? (or did I dream that? :) )

Yes you can. Off course, you will have to import the required translation labels.

does this also work for the standard export/importcustomizations tool in MS CRM 4.0?

--> can you export customization from one base language environment (English) to import it in another base language environment (Hebrew)?
