I wanted to install some tools for my presentation about Developer's Toolbox at the Oracle .Net Forum and one of the tools that I wanted to show was Roy's regulator. I've been working all night to complete some work and as usual I was goggling allot but since 5:30am my ISP has some problems connecting to Google and it brings me back to the ages where Google wasn't on the planet. As I don't have much choice it is time to give a shot to some other search engines... say Live.com ... but what can I say... One thing that I really hate about IE 7 is that whenever it crashes it doesn't bring back the URLs I was watching... and unfortunately IE7 does tend to crash much more often the Firefox ! IE7Pro add-in among other cool features has a crash recovery feature just like in Firefox :) Finally you can return to the sites that were lost during the crash. Download it over here
Lenovo just release line of ThinkPad Vista Drivers ... It took them some time... but well they finally did it. I just finished configuring my T60P with the latest drivers... and everything seems to be working great. In the release you can find the long waited ATI FireGL Driver... we can finally display WPF correctly on ThinkPad. Check it out here
For anyone who started distributing Office 2007 documents and ran into the problem of enabling non Office 2007 users to open his documents this compatibility pack is a must. Using the Office Compatibility Pack users of Office XP and 2003 can Open, edit, and save documents, workbooks, and presentations in the file formats new to Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007. So from now on... when you send an Office 2007 document to someone... add a link to this pack just to be sure that the document...
I was looking earlier today for some sort of code implementation as I was just too lazy to code it myself... then I remembered about google code search ... After 20 seconds I had some kind of implementation in my hand and yep I also looked at the license to see that its royalty free :-) P.S. small tip... use the advance search to limit to search to C# or whatever.
