1. Infrastructure Lead Developer

Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
• 3 years or more experienced programmer.
• Deep knowledge in c\c++.
• Deep knowledge in Windows systems (XP\Vista).
• Deep knowledge in Win32 API.
• At least 1 year experience in a multi-discipline systems.
• A team-player.
• Ability to lead subject and bring to closure.

Advantage :

• An Infrastructure perspective.
• Knowledge in .Net.
• Knowledge in in CORBA - a significant advantage.

2. UI Layer Lead Developer

Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
• 3 years or more experienced programmer.
• Deep knowledge in .NET (at least 2.0)
• Deep knowledge in .NET Interoperability with C++
• Knowledge in c\c++.
• A team-player.
• Ability to lead subject and bring to closure.

Advantage:

• Knowledge in Patterns & Practices products.
• Knowledge in building Composite UI.
• Knowledge in WCF / WPF
• Knowledge in in CORBA

3. QA - End to End - Quality Engineer

Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
• Minimum of 5+ years of QA/Software Testing experience
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and quality standards.
• Strong understanding of the industry on QA trends and ability to think outside the box to enable significant defect reductions and improvements in our overall quality.
• Proficient with testing tools such as Quality Center, QuickPro, ClearQuest or similar testing tools.
• Experienced on planning (test schedule, resource planning,…), building and running complex test environments.
• Ability to lead QA processes, as well as personally write test cases, execute tests
• Strong communication, collaboration and leadership skills.
• Experienced in full software development life cycle and methodologies
• Medium-High English level
• Flexible, methodic and self trainer
• Experience working with distributed teams.

Advantage:

• Knowledge in prepress, graphic applications (Quark, InDesign,…) and PPML providers
• Capable to operate both workflow/DFE tools as well as HP-Indigo presses
• Knowledgeable in internal, external and 3rd party DFEs.
• General computer knowledge in Windows and Mac.
• Coding skills in programming languages as Java, C++, C, VB script, PERL

האנשים הקטנים והארגון הגדול

לפעמים יש דברים הנשגבים מבינתי.... החלטות של מנכ"לים שפשוט אי אפשר להבין אותם.

בחברה כלשהי אי שם ברחבי העולם החליט המנכ"ל לחסוך כסף ! נו חשיבה נכונה הייתם אומרים לא ? המימוש לא משהו....

עיקר ההחלטה הינה לקצץ בשרותי ה-IT המקומיים ולרכז את כל השרות בהודו.

נו מה יכול להיות כל כך גרוע ?

אז הנה כמה דוגמאות מהשבוע האחרון:

1. קיבלתי Docking Station תקול, במקום לעלות שתי קומות ולהחליפו באחר יש לפתוח קריאה ב-WEB לטלפן להודו ולהמתין כ-40 דקות על הקו לדבר עם הודי באנגלית רצוצה כ-35 דקות בכדי שהוא יפתח קריאה לצוות המקומי כדי שהצוות המקומי יחליף את ה-Docking Station.

2. בכדי לחבר Laptop ל-Domain מקומי חשבתי להקדים ולגשת לצוות ה-IT המקומי... אבל לא... הם יושבים רגל על רגל וממתינים לקריאות מהודו... בקיצור שלחו אותי לפתוח קריאה מול הודו... שוב המתנה של 35 דקות... שיחה של 15 דקות הפעם ופתיחת קריאה לצוות המקומי שיכניס לי את המחשב הארור ל-Domain המקומי.

3. ראה 2 אותו דבר עבור חיבור לרשת אלחוטית מקומית (מיותר לציין שכל קריאה היא להודי שונה בניטוב השיחות ולכן לא ניתן לבצע הכל יחדיו)

4. התקנת Visual Studio... לא אגזול את זמנכם... אחרי ששוחחתי עם אשת תמיכה שלה הבינה מה זה בכלל Visual Studio והאם זה מוצר של הארגון שלה... הבנתי שהדרך הבטוחה היא להשתמש ב-DVD מה-MSDN UNIVERAL הפרטי שלי להתקנה... אחרת אני פשוט לא אסיים זאת שפוי.

בקיצור אם מישהו היה עושה חשבון כמה הוא חוסך לעומת כמה עולה לו שעת עבודה שלי ועוד של רבים שכמוני אולי הוא היה מגיע לחשבון שההוצאה יותר גדולה מהחיסכון.
