WDC - First Meeting Impressions
What a pleasure it was to meet all the great people that came to the WDC opening event, the room was almost full, and the feedback amount and scores were sky high.
On that meeting, I said a few words about the community, and how it's important that developers will take active participation in it, as well as giving new ideas and talk about what they feel about Web development.
After that, Udi Dahan gave a wonderful lecture (you can find the presentation and demos on my previous blog enty).
And then... There was a fancy break with a cake devoted especially to WDC (well... the webs decorations, didn't end up so well... but it was tasty :-) )
A toss to the grand opening and to the new year (6 days after, but who's counting?)
and of course food drinks and many smiling participants including the host :-)
After the break Udi got into the details of implementation.
I want to thank anyone that came to that meeting and took a part in the community. I hope that you'll continue enjoying the group meetings, and continue giving feedback about the things you want to hear about, talk about, share with others etc.
I'll be glad to read any comments.
On my next blog entry I'll tell a bit more about the next meeting.
