Team Purpose/Mission
The Israel Marketing organization will lead the online advertising business by delivering world class marketing and product management for Windows Live, MSN and Live Search.
Reporting Relationship
The Israel Windows Live Product Manager reports to the Israel Marketing Director.
Role Purpose
The Israel Windows Live Product Manager is responsible for delivering Windows Live business goals in the Area. The Israel WL PM is specifically responsible for the audience growth, and ad monetization. This person is recognized internally and externally as an expert in online services and internet marketing.
Business and marketing leadership - The Israel Windows Live PM is responsible for driving Windows Live unique users for Messenger, Hotmail and additional Windows Live services.
Functional marketing leadership - The Israel Windows Live PM supports delivery against current targets and long-term growth through overcoming obstacles and misalignments that hinder Windows Live objectives. The Israel Windows Live PM will direct and lead the implementation of specific campaigns, product launches and marketing activities. The Israel Windows Live PM will also handle service quality and deliver product and consumer feedback to Redmond.
• Lead and drive Windows Live related campaigns and product launches
• Accountable for overall Windows Live business results and Windows Live IDs
• Support online service Innovation around Windows Live APIs
• Ensure integration of Windows Live in MSN
• Increase yield in partnership with 3rd party monetization
• WL representative for Corp Product Planning, Development and Product Quality

1. Strategy Planning & Business Management: Industry expert with deep consumer knowledge who can drive medium term planning in the Area. Will manage overall business performance as well as long-terms success of the Windows Live proposition - 15% estimated annual % of time
2. Ensures quality of execution in market around key initiatives and campaigns: support specific customer campaigns, marketing activities and Windows Live IDs goal by referring channel - 25% estimated annual % of time
3. Increase yield in partnership with 3rd party monetization - 10% Estimated Annual % of Time
4. Represent Area priorities around Windows Live opportunity, product roadmap, marketing investment, relevancy and performance - 20% estimated annual % of time
5. Key Spokesperson Engagement: PR, customer and partner events and meetings - 15% estimated annual % of time
6. Key Competition & Market Trend Focus: Drives competitive strategy for the Windows Live business within the subsidiary - 15% estimated annual % of time

Experiences Required
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience in product sales / product marketing and marketing experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developing (and leading) segment based sales and marketing strategies and programs
• Is able to develop a long term strategic vision for success of Business Group products, while also being able to ensure successful execution of short term priorities.
• A technical undergraduate degree and MBA with strong financial and quantitative skills are preferred.
