What Gives? App Performance -/+ 20% = NILL

Ed Glass from the MS Load Test Team wrote a post:

Make Your Performance Work Count: The 20% Rule

Basically, the idea behind the 20% rule is that the end users are "blind" to changes that within the limit of 20%. If you have a regression issue that is lower than 20% you might want to think if business wise you want to improve it.

Here is a great sentence from his post:

"If it is fast and ugly, they will use it and curse you;

if it is slow, they will not use it."
