Last December, at last, W3C published the final release of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 . It took five years to create this new version, and now that it is out, there are many questions regarding this new version. A few days ago, I was asked to give my opinion regarding the accessibility level of a web site. The lead UI designer said something like “If I understand the guidelines correctly, there is no need to change the design, to comply with WCAG 2.0”.
