As stated in my previous post , the current version of this great add-on is not working on IE browsers, and that's by design (see my previous post for more details). Telerik has finally released the new version of r.a.d editor for MOSS that supports integration with IE , including overriding the default CEWP in list edit forms. r.a.d editor for MOSS can be downloaded for free from Telerik's website .
The other day I was trying to install Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar for IE7 (beta3) on my laptop. Installation went well, but the tool just didn't work. So I tried searching the net.. maybe it is a known problem.. maybe it has problems with Vista.. maybe something else... but nothing. I almost gave up until just now when I tried the obvious - Restart! Setup doesn't prompt you for anything like that.. so I do :) Besides that it is a nice tool.. if you don't have it, get it here ...
UPDATE: v1.1 is out and supports IE. More details If you havent heard of r.a.d editor for MOSS yet, you definitly sould. It's a free cross-browser alternative to the default content editor web part that add some really nice features. It also has the capability to override the defualt content editor in sharepoint's forms (such as lists editing forms) If you have heard of it, you'v probably tryed to install it, only to find out that it doesnt work! That is, it can be manually placed inside...
