Making Configuration and deployment of SQL Server Integration Services easy is one of the main focus points for the SQL 11 Release. This presentation will walk you through the new package creation and deployment experience, and go into detail about the design decisions we've made for the upcoming release. You'll see how packages can be grouped together to form a single deployable Data Integration project, and how the new Parameter based configuration model makes things easier for both the ETL developer and the DBA. We'll demo the new SSIS server architecture and SSMS management experience, and also take a look at some of the UI and productivity enhancements that you can expect to see in CTP 1
