The month of October bears good news
October began yesterday with an email from Microsoft congratulating me for receiving Microsoft’s Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award . I’m a connected system developer MVP, which kind of describes my work – working with distributed systems, connecting clients and servers, building WCF services, ASP.NET applications, working with IIS servers, etc… This is the first time I receive the MVP award, so I’m quite excited. Special thanks to the people who helped with my nomination – Guy Burstein and Meir...
What developers do when given a chance…
This photo was taken from an Airbus plane screen that belongs to air VIA Note to QA: add a sanity test step to verify developers haven’t changed the icons. These are the voyages of the airplane enterprise . Its continuing mission: to explore strange new countries, to seek out new sceneries and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before.
Apparently South Park’s creators read my blog
Otherwise I can’t explain how they came up with the idea of creating such a funny episode about people not reading license agreements . HUMANCENTiPAD Tags: SOUTH PARK more...
Does anyone today bother on reading license terms?
Do they really expect me to read this? At least it’s only the Beta of the service pack, they will probably correct it when they ship the release version.
I’m a Microsoft Community Contributor

The Microsoft Community Contributor Award is reserved for participants who have made notable contributions in Microsoft online community forums such as TechNet, MSDN and Answers. The value of these resources is greatly enhanced by participants like you, who voluntarily...
No more URL copy & paste for me !
Ever wrote a word document where you needed to use a lot of hyperlinks? You need to go to your internet site, copy the URL, go back to the document, mark you text, right-click, select “Hyperlink”, paste the address in the link textbox and press OK ! well, no more ! Apparently there is a better technique to do this in word: Mark your text, right-click it and select “Hyperlink” from the context menu. Open the required site in your browser (you can also move to an already opened browser). Move back...
