I’m a Microsoft Community Contributor
I got the following email today from Microsoft:
“Dear Ido,
Congratulations! We’re pleased to inform you that your contributions to Microsoft online technical communities have been recognized with the Microsoft Community Contributor Award.
The Microsoft Community Contributor Award is reserved for participants who have made notable contributions in Microsoft online community forums such as TechNet, MSDN and Answers. The value of these resources is greatly enhanced by participants like you, who voluntarily contribute your time and energy to improve the online community experience for others. …”
And I also got this nice certificate:

Answering to questions in forums allows me to both contribute my knowledge to people who need it and to learn from people’s questions, so I’m enjoying it very much.
Even if you don’t consider yourself as an expert in your field of work, try to visit some of Microsoft’s forums on those topics, sometimes you can just learn by reading people’s questions and the answers that are given to them.
In the coming SDP (Sela Developer Practice) I’ll try to share some of my experience with you regarding WCF, Entity Framework, and ASP.NET.
You can also vote for the lectures you want to hear and win a free entrance to the conference.
