We (finally) microsoft announced the the following releases of the SQL Server Best Practices Analyzer tool will not be tied to service pack release. SQL Server Best Practices Analyzer is a code analysis tool (fxcop for sql) and according to Paul Mestemaker microsoft will update it according to a new best practices that will be evolved and refined with years to come.
