The Business Center (Post 7)
One of my favorite things to do at Tech-Ed is to walk around the business center and soak in the atmosphere and the services being advertised there. This year the business center is located at Herods, it's structure is very interesting (it's a huge bar structure inside which the people that present sit). There are several attractions, one of them is the Xbox and the other is the Zune. Regarding the Zune, as a portable media player enthusiast I was somewhat disappinted that the Zune didn't...

Networking at Tech-Ed (Post 6)
So why do you come to Tech-Ed? Most of us will say that we come here to catch up on technology, learn new things, get new ideas and enrich ourselves. Some will even admit that they actually come here for networking. If you work in the field of IT Tech-Ed is the event for you to meet your peers and in some cases future employers or business partners. The IT field (and the hi-tech field) is relatively small in Israel (as is everything else), everyone knows everyone. At some point or another you have...

Bloggers Untie!! (Post 5)
Since I arrived late I managed to miss the the bloggers meeting. Yet, some good soul decided to place the goodies that the bloggers were given in my room, yupee! So without further ado I would like to thank that person and thank the people behind the bloggers program for inviting me. The goodies given to the bloggers were intended to help us do our job better, the bag includes: A blogger shirt (if you have ever met me, you know that it's a very crewl joke to give me a shirt smaller then XXL)....

Driving to Eilat (Post 3)
I am not really live blogging. Driving and blogging would prove to be too odd, even for me. After much deliberation I have decided to drive. I left the house around 09:30 (with the GPS on) and started driving. At first I wasn't sure to my reaction as it is a long drive, but Armin kept me company (ok,he wasn't in the car,he's CDs were) so everything went quite well until I noticed that according to my GPS I am driving on an area that has nor road...my map is outdated. I arrived at around...

Tech-Ed (Post 2)
Hmm,I don't know what is the best way to get to Tech-Ed...Flying is obviously shorter yet the time slots I received(07:00 and 21:30) are bad so driving is the logical choice since it gives you the freedom to come and go as you like, but the rumor is that there is a huge number of people arriving with cars...so,I dunno... And yes,it is 22:00 on the night before Tech-Ed...

Tech-Ed Eilat
So many posts on the subject, none by me. So what are we looking at? This is the first Tech-ED I am going to without an official role, oddly anti-climatic. On the other hand in the last few hours I started getting excited about attending. I am guessing and looking forward to some special activities as part of the blogger team that was invited by Microsoft...and I am thinking about what would be the best way to go through a Tech-Ed at which you don't need to worry about your PPT decks, demos,...
