One of the most annoying things in the world (ok,I may be exaggerating a bit), is to install a new server and forget to enable remote desktop (extra points for a remote site). If this happens you can either use some type of IPKVM to connect to the server and enable remote desktop or, with some Registry editing, you can enable it remotely.
