The Business Center (Post 7)
One of my favorite things to do at Tech-Ed is to walk around the business
center and soak in the atmosphere and the services being advertised there.
This year the business center is located at Herods, it's structure is very
interesting (it's a huge bar structure inside which the people that present sit).
There are several attractions, one of them is the Xbox and the other is the Zune.
Regarding the Zune, as a portable media player enthusiast I was somewhat disappinted
that the Zune didn't get a display of it's own(if I missed it then it under advertised).
If found the Zune sitting on something that looked like a table:
Another interesting point is the fact that there are several representatives of Microsoft's
R&D that you can walk up to and talk to. Specifically the guys from Microsoft Haifa (ISA),PC Health,
and the Innovation Labs.
Oh,one last point-yes I have to say something bad-where is the Microsoft shop? I couldn't
find it-and I am guessing that there isn't one...I always loved buying stuff there...
