רשמים מהכנס היום במיקרוסופט: “A New Level of Agile Development with VS2012”

היום היה הכנס בו הרצתי בשניים מיתוך ארבעת ההרצאות. לכנס הגיעו כ – 150 אנשים שנהנו מארבעה הרצאות מקצועיות . בהרצאה הראשונה של רונן בר נאור דיבר רונן על מהם המאפיינים של ארגון אג’ילי, אני מאוד נהניתי מההרצאה אני חייב להודות שלא עם כול מה שנאמר בהרצאה הסכמתי אך יחד עם זאת למדתי כמה דברים חדשים. את ההרצאה השנייה אני העברתי , בהרצאה ניסיתי ליצור שפה משותפת ולהסביר בקווים כלליים מה זה SCRUM ומה זה Kanban, לאחר הסבר קצר הראיתי איך ניתן בעזרת כלי מיקרוסופט לנהל SCRUM ו – Kanban. את ה – Kanban הראיתי על ה...

איך מזינים את השעות האפקטיביות של כול איש פיתוח במערכת ה–TFS?

כולנו יודעים שיום עבודה אפקטיבי עבור עובד הוא בהחלט לא הזמן בו הוא שוהה במקום העבודה, גם לא הזמן המדווח בדוח השעות החודשי. לכולנו יש זמן לא אפקטיבי במהלך היום, הזמן בו אנחנו מכינים קפה/תא, הזמן בו אנחנו אוכלים, ישיבות בהם אנחנו משתתפים וכו’. ב – SCRUM אנחנו מגדירים זמן אפקטיבי עבור צוות SCRUM, ב – TFS 2012 ניתן להגדיר שעות עבודה עבור כול עובד כאשר ניתן להגדיר 9 שעות אך המלצתי היא להגדיר שעות אפקטיביות אז ניתן להיות הרבה יותר מדויקים בניהול הפרויקט, כמובן שיש לזכור גם לתזמן את המשימות בשעות אפקטיביות...

How To Get To The Web Access In TFS 2010

In TFS 2008 the Web Access was a different installation and it came as a Power Tool to the TFS. In TFS 2010 the Web Access is installed automatically and is part of the TFS. In order to get to the Web Access in TFS 2010 do the following: In your preferred browser type: http://[YourServerName]:8080/tfs/web/ YourServerName is the tfs name for example: http://tfs-srv:8080/tfs/web/ Or you can get to it from the Team Project SharePoint Site : Have Fun!!!

Web Access Error: “Length cannot be less than zero. Parameter name": length”

The problem is that some users can’t get to the Alerts section of the Web Access. The cause of the problem is unknown, I have tried to go into the Database and find the cause for the problem in one of my clients sites and I was unsuccessful in doing that. I have also tried to reinstall the Web Access with the same result. Microsoft say that this is a known bug and it will be fixed in the next Web Access release version. Has for Web Access 2008 SP1 it is not fixed yet. Have Fun
