Tomorrow is a big day for me! I am about to give a session about testing with the Microsoft Testing Tools that were released with the Visual Studio 2010 and TFS 2010. Unfortunately the registration was closed a few days ago due to lake of sits . I have been asked this question many times, the scenario is: Developer deletes a folder/branch/file etc. The developer checks in his changes The developer likes to see the deleted items to check there history for example There are other scenarios that will require this functionality. These instractions will work for all the Visual Studio 2010 versions . Upgrading your Visual Studio 2010 is a very simple task, just follow these steps: Step 1: Go to Add Remove Programs from the control panel Step 2: Uninstall Visual Studio Step 3: Uninstall the .NET Framework 4.0 Extended Step 4: Uninstall the .NET Framework 4.0 Client Profile Step 5: Install the RTM version of Visual Studio That is all. Finally it is here!!! We have waited so long for it, we have tried the different CTPs and the Beta 1, we have used the Beta 2 and the Release Candidate and now we have the “real thing” the Release To Market version (RTM) Martin Hinshelwood has written a grate post that will help to upgrade TFS to the TFS 2010 RTM, you can read more here .
