רשמים מהכנס היום במיקרוסופט: “A New Level of Agile Development with VS2012”

היום היה הכנס בו הרצתי בשניים מיתוך ארבעת ההרצאות. לכנס הגיעו כ – 150 אנשים שנהנו מארבעה הרצאות מקצועיות . בהרצאה הראשונה של רונן בר נאור דיבר רונן על מהם המאפיינים של ארגון אג’ילי, אני מאוד נהניתי מההרצאה אני חייב להודות שלא עם כול מה שנאמר בהרצאה הסכמתי אך יחד עם זאת למדתי כמה דברים חדשים. את ההרצאה השנייה אני העברתי , בהרצאה ניסיתי ליצור שפה משותפת ולהסביר בקווים כלליים מה זה SCRUM ומה זה Kanban, לאחר הסבר קצר הראיתי איך ניתן בעזרת כלי מיקרוסופט לנהל SCRUM ו – Kanban. את ה – Kanban הראיתי על ה...

תמיכת Coded UI Test בריבוי דפדפנים

נשאלתי מספר פעמים בימים האחרונים איך ניתן להשתמש בפיצ’ר החדש שיצא עם ה – Update 1 של ה – Visual Studio 2012, תמיכה בריבוי דפדפנים. אז קודם כול כמה דרישות קדם: 1) יש להתקין את ה – Visual Studio 2012 ואת ה – Update 1 2) זה עובד על הדפדפנים הבאים בלבד: - IE 9 - IE 10 Classic - Firefox גרסה 15 ומעלה - Chrome גרסה 21 ומעלה כדי שזה יצליח לעבוד יש להתקין את ה - Selenium NET Bindings and the Selenium ChromeDriver אותם מורידים מכאן לאחר ההתקנה ניתן לעבוד Cross Browsers עם ה – Coded UI Test. תיהנו!!!

איך לשנות את ה–Template של ה–Test Scribe

ה – Test Scribe הוא כלי להפקת מסמכי בדיקות STD ומסמכי תוצאות הבדיקות STR. ניתן לקרוא עוד על ה – Test Scribe בפוסט שכתבתי בעבר: “איך נעשה דוקומנטציה למקרי הבדיקה ולתוצאות ההרצה? איך מחברים Test Agent שלא נמצא ב–Domain ל–Test Rig?

אחת השאלות שעולות לא מעט היא: “יש לי מחשב אותו אני רוצה לכלול בבדיקות אבל הוא לא נמצא ב – Domain מה עושים?”   כדי להתקין Test agent על מחשב שלא ב – Domain ולחבר אותו בצע את הצעדים הבאים: לצורך הדוגמא TestComp הוא המחשב שמיחוץ ל – Domain ו – ContComp הוא המחשב ב – Domain עליו נתקין את ה – Test Controller. צעד 1: צור משתמש לדוגמא Test על ה – TestComp המשתמש הוא משתמש מקומי צעד 2: צור אותו משתמש על ה – ContComp כמשתמש מקומי עם אותו השם ואותה הסיסמה צעד 3: הוסף את המשתמש לקבוצת ה – Administrators...

נגמר ה–Expert Days אז מה היה לנו?

שבוע שעבר היה את ה – Expert Days של חברת E4D, אני העברתי שני סדנאות בשבוע זה: 1. Build and Deployment automation with Visual studio 2010 ב – 11.07.2011 2. איך נחליט איזה באגים לתקן בתהליך הפיתוח?

סוגיה שעולה אצל מרבית הלקוחות שלי… אני תמיד אומר: “את כל הבאגים צריך לנהל אך לא את כל הבאגים נתקן” , אז איך נחליט את מה לתקן? התשובה לזה היא פשוטה: “אם עלות תיקון הבאג גבוהה מהעלות של לא לתקן את הבאג אז לא נתקן, אם עלות התיקון נמוכה יותר נתקן” איך זה יכול להיות? אם תשקיעו מחשבה בתשובה שנתתי תיראו שמדובר על תשובה מאוד הגיונית. ניקח לדוגמא באג מסוג Show Stopper מה שאומר שחלק באפליקציה שלנו לא עובד, נניח ונשחרר את האפליקציה עם הבאג נקבל לקוחות מאוד כועסים, לקוחות כועסים לא טובים לחברה בטח שלא לקוחות...

I get this question a lot!!! How do I reuse my Test Suites? In MTM we have a very easy way of reusing Test Suites, just follow these steps: Here I have created a source plan with Test Suite to copy, the Test Suite contains Requirements and Test Cases. Test Manager Video Recording Result With .xesc How Can I Play It?

The Video Recorder uses the Expression Recorder 4 to record the video from the screen. The result is a link that ends with .xesc that you will not be able to play. What can we do in order to play it? In order to play these files install one of the two: Expression Encoder 4 Screen Capture Code After installing One of the two Windows Media Player will be able to play these files. Note: The second one is the codec only and is included in the first Have Fun!!!
