Oslo - Merging Services and Models
A year ago, I had the pleasure of delivering two talks at an architect’s forum in Helsinki. The first talk was about services and Microsoft solution for SOA. The second one was about models and Microsoft solution at that time with DSLs and Visual Studio Team Architect. The reason I needed two talks is because those two topics were not really related to one another. Summarizing the SOA and S+S Track in Tech-Ed
Wow, this was a great Tech-Ed. In the last two months, I've been working with each and every one of the speakers to make their session become a blast. I have seen some of the speakers for more than 5 reviews and the results were just great. The track started with a 15 minutes opening where I covered the why and the what behind SOA and S+S, the current and future Microsoft solution portfolio and finally the teaser to the track sessions. Oslo, Microsoft's roadmap and next-generation for SOA
Last week, on the Microsoft's SOA and BPM Summit in Redmond, me and more than 1000 people had the chance of hearing Microsoft's announcement for the next generation of SOA code-named "Oslo". This is cool stuff and I kind of hoped that more information will be revealed in the conference.
