Using Live Writer without Windows Update
As I previously wrote, while trying to install the most recent Live Writer I encountered this message:
"A Critical update is needed. To continue this intallation, you need to install Windows Update Agent 5.8.0249 or later."
As I only need Live Writer and have no use for this update agent, I went to look for alternatives, and thanks to Jalaj found the link to the beta version of the product (using it to write this post).
