Donno what is so special with my machine but I almost never go beyond 600 megs (vs2010, R#6)

Btw, there was a Hanselminutes lately with a person from the VS team who talked about some of the perf issues in it. The short version - lots of legacy code left from early versions that deal poorly with threading, locks the UI thread for no good reasons etc. And they are tackling issue by issue, but you should not expect a rewrite

You should look into the Iesi.Collections library. It has an ImutableSet collection and a HashSet collection that might be useful for you.

I don't have a lot of experience with them, but i've seen their use in the NHibernate source code and know it comes with unit tests...

when I runt he msbuild then only the last entry from Substitutions file is substituted, what is the problem.
