With all the Buzz around Facebook Like Button, I wanted to include it in my blog posts using a Windows Live Writer Plugin. Since I didn’t find any, I decided to create my own Facebook Like Button Windows Live Writer Plugin.

After you download the plugin, run the .msi and install it (very simple and quick installation).

Using Facebook Like Button Windows Live Writer Plugin

After installing Facebook Like Button Windows Live Writer Plugin, go to Windows Live Writer and go to the Tools->Options menu, and make sure it is installed and enabled.

The first time you publish a post to a blog, Windows Live Writer will ask you if you want to enable this plugin for this blog. When you do, it will add a Facebook Like Button widget to your post header.
