בעקבות בקשות רבות שקיבלנו בתקופה האחרונה מקהילת המפתחים, הצלחנו להגדיל את מספר המקומות באירוע Rock The Web ולפתוח אותו להרשמה חופשית. Rock The Web הוא כנס מפתחים מובילים בטכנולוגיות Web ומועבר ע”י Jeff Prosise.

Jeff Prosise הוא אחד ממייסדי חברת Wintellect המתמחה ביעוץ והדרכה של טכנולוגיות מיקרוסופט. Jeff נחשב לדמות מובילה בתחום הפיתוח בטכנולוגיות ה- Web של מיקרוסופט, ביניהן ASP.Net, Ajax ו- Silverlight.

Asynchronous ASP.NET Programming
The secret to building highly scalable ASP.NET applications is to use the ASP.NET thread pool as efficiently as possible and to avoid blocking I/O. This session describes how to do just that by leveraging ASP.NET’s asynchronous (and largely undocumented) programming models, particularly asynchronous pages and asynchronous HTTP handlers.

Power ASP.NET AJAX Programming

Introducing Microsoft Silverlight 2
Silverlight is Microsoft’s revolutionary new platform for delivering Rich Internet Applications (RIAs). It combines a XAML rendering engine with a browser-based version of the .NET Framework and packages both in a browser plug-in. This session introduces the Silverlight programming model and demonstrates why Silverlight is the most exciting technology to hit the Web since  HTML.

Deep Dive Into Silverlight 2
Silverlight transcends HTML and JavaScript and lets you leverage your .NET programming skills to write great browser-based applications. This session takes a deep dive into Silverlight 2 and covers topics such as networking, browser integration, isolated storage, data binding, and yes, even threading. Multithreaded applications that run in a browser? You better believe it!
