ADO.Net Entity Framework Beta 3 Tools Requires a Visual Studio Patch to be installed (KB945282)

After installing Visual Studio 2008 RTM and Downloading ADO.Net Entity Framework Beta 3 bits I started the installation process. The installation of the runtime went OK, but when trying to install the ADO.Net Entity Framework Beta 3 Tools, it told me that "ADO.Net Entity Framework Tools Preview can only be installed if a necessary Visual Studio patch is installed", and pointed me to: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink?LinkID=104985.

This link pointed me to download and install KB945282, which I found no documentation of in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.

After installing the patch, the installation succeeds.
