Hi All, after todays SharePoint Extreme event in which I managed a full day Level 400 session seminar I wanted to share with you all some link as a starting point.

There are  a lot of dashboard-creation content on TechNet that you might find helpful:

· Plan, design, and implement a PerformancePoint dashboard to show organizational performance. This article is a roadmap that guides you through the phases of planning, designing, creating, and deploying PerformancePoint dashboards.

· Create advanced PerformancePoint dashboards. This article is a roadmap to additional topics on how to extend PerformancePoint dashboards.

· Business intelligence scenarios and solutions. This section contains a number of different business intelligence scenarios, including the following PerformancePoint dashboard scenarios:

BI as a field is moving from BI 1.0 to BI 2.0: from siloed, complicated and IT owned to integrated, flexible, and collaborative

BI has changed a great deal over the years, particularly recently

BI 1.0

In the past, BI focused on

Methodology, technology, and best practices of using data to drive decisions and understand the business.

Provides historical, current, and predictive perspectives

However, this still left a lot to be desired.

לא פעם אני נשאל  כיצד להציג עברית מהקובייה, למרות שאנ לא נמצא בסביבת עיברית.

כלומר איך "להכריח" את הקובייה לשלוח לי את התצוגה במתורגמת לעיברית.

אז זה די פשוט... כל מה שצריך זה "לצרוב" בCONNECTION STRING את המחרוזת:

The PerformancePoint 2010 Content Deployment Tool is a command-line tool that allows you to deploy PerformancePoint content using an existing ddwx file and can be used to migrate content from development to production or between site collections on the same SharePoint server.
The tool allows you to:

• Re-map list locations - you can deploy content from one site to another site by specifying the new list location to deploy the content to

• Automatically deploy dashboards - by default, dashboards are automatically deployed to the previous path and master page

• Update server names and a ton of other properties - you can update the server name (and other properties) of data sources, reports, and dashboards to update them from development values to production values without manual steps

Enabling PerformancePoint involves several post install different pieces:

1. A PerformancePoint Service

a. Central Admin -> System Settings -> Manage Services on Server: Make sure “PerformancePoint Service” is started on at least one of the back-end servers (Application Servers) in the farm.

2. A PerformancePoint Service Application

a. Central Admin -> Application Management -> Manage Service Applications: Create one PerformancePoint Service Application

3. A Site Collection feature

a. Site Settings -> Site Collection Administration -> Site collection features: Enable “SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure”

b. Enable “PerformancePoint Services Site Collection Features”

4. A Site feature

a. Site Settings -> Site Actions -> Manage Site Features: Enable “PerformancePoint Services Site Features”

Important for all Server Applications listed above:
After applying the preceding updates, run the SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard or “psconfig –cmd upgrade –inplace b2b -wait” in command line. This needs to be done on all servers in the farm with SharePoint installed. You can run psconfig in parallel on all SharePoint machines.
