Position is located in Ra'anana
Role Purpose
Manage and lead projects’ architecture vis-à-vis organizational customers, strategic partners and large independent software vendors.
Responsibilities
- Lead the process of defining the architecture and design of large software systems, including design review, code review and technological orientation.
- Obtain and maintain long-term relationships with customers and partners that are based on trust and professional and technical leadership.
- Maintain a deep understanding of software architecture trends and standards as well as a high level of expertise around Microsoft products and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in sciences, computer sciences or information systems.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, including at least two years as senior developer and/or development team leader in a .NET environment.
- Project management experience and background.
- Knowledge of and experience with the architecture, design and development of distributed systems based on Microsoft technologies.
- Knowledge of and experience with Web Services, Windows Forms, ASP.NET, IIS, .NET Framework, SQL Server, XML, ADO.NET, Enterprise services.
- Knowledge of and experience with Design Patterns (GoF, P&P, etc.).
- Knowledge of and experience with Patterns and Practices products (Guides, Application Blocks, Enterprise Library, Software Factories).
- Experience with Microsoft’s application servers: BizTalk, Exchange, WSS/SPS - a plus
- Knowledge of new technologies (2007 Microsoft Office, .NET Framework 3.0, Longhorn Server) - a plus.
- Experience in consulting and working with large/institutional customers - a plus.
- Knowledge around infrastructure and security - a plus.
- Knowledge of MVS, VMS, Unix, AS-400, SAP, CRM systems - a plus
- MCSE, MCSD certification and/or M.Sc. graduate - a plus
