SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 download released
Yes, you read it right, Service Pack 1 to SQL Server 2008 R2 was just released. This service pack (as ever) is a bundle of all the cumulative updates thus far for SQL Server 2008 R2. Lifecycle support for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 1
Well I guess this Microsoft's way of telling you that you should install already the SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 , as the Lifecycle Supported Service Packs has announced that the support for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 1 will end on the 8th of April 2008.
