Microsoft has recently announced the SQL Server 2012 Licensing . The main news is the new BI edition released with SQL Server 2012 which is positioned between the Standard edition and the Enterprise edition. I had the great pleasure of being invited from the Microsoft Blog Platform to the Women Think Next 2010 event that was held today. I have to admit, when I first heard of the event I couldn't help but think to myself - why do I as a woman need an event focused on women? Am I really interested in "special treatment"? Isn't equality (also in events) the best? So I did go feeling somewhat skeptic. But the event itself was quite thought provoking and so I'm very happy it was held...

אילוצי זמן וכסף מנעו מחלק מהקהל הפוטנציאלי להגיע לטק אד. למרב הבנתי הוצגו חידושים רבים שלציבור הרחב יש עניין בהם. מיקרוסופט ישראל מארגנת לקהילת ה Net. את ה "Dev Academy". לפי דעתי ראוי לשקול אירוע דומה גם לקהילת ה IT. אירוע של "IT Academy" יכול לכלול בין היתר נושאים אופייניים ל IT כגון: SQL Server, Windows ונושאים נוספים בתחום. אני בטוחה שקיים מספיק ביקוש בקרב קהילת ה IT שיעריכו יום שמוקדש לנושא מצד מיקרוסופט, בהינתן שלמיקרוסופט יש כל כך הרבה מה להציע לתחום. יתר על כן, עם יום...
