These screenshots provide some nice prototypes that were developed until a decision was made and Office 2007 got the UI that you are using today. While writing a post about Windows Virtual PC and Virtual Windows XP (will be published later today), I noticed something weird at the Microsoft Windows Virtual PC page . If you take a closer look at the desktop you’ll see that the desktop icons and taskbar are not really Windows icons and taskbar….
