MIX 2011: Discussion: Building line-of-business apps
A few days before the MIX conference every attendee got a mail suggesting to participate in some discussion groups with Microsoft personnel.
I asked to participate in the “Building line-of-business apps” discussion, and indeed a few days later I got an invitation.
To those that don’t know, these discussion groups are another way that Microsoft uses to get feedback from the community.
These discussions groups are usually very intimate, i.e. 15 people at most, so you really got a chance of making your voice heard.
Since these conversations usually revolve around questions of the type “How do you think Microsoft can do X better?”, I can’t say too much about their content.
All I can say is that I gave my saying about HTML 5 vs. Silverlight issue. I suggest that everyone who has the chance in the future to participate in such a discussion should really seize the opportunity.
the only disadvantage to those discussions is that they are usually done during the other sessions so you’re missing something. Between us, not something that you can’t recover by using the video.
That’s it for now,
