I'm going to India tomorrow.
I know, I only got back from South America, but the opportunity came and I couldn't let it slip.
The last couple of weeks were amazing for me, I feel like I have awakened.
Last week I met a friend and while telling him my recent experiences, he told me he bought a ticket to India due next week. He took 3 weeks off and wanted to visit places he didn't pass when he was there before.
At first, I told him that it's a shame he didn't tell me before otherwise I might have come.
Well for him it was a quick decision and fulfilling it aswell. He told me even before his family.
After that I gave it another thought, why not to try it myself. It can't hurt anyone.
Well I've got one week and I needed to get a passport (after mine was stolen at Buenos Aires), get a visa, get tickets and the hardest get a leave from work.
But when there is a will there is a way! (such a cliche:))
I was told that Sela is a flex organization, but I really gave it a test, and I was suprised to know that they make things work, talked to customers and postpones consulting meetings for me just so I could go and furthermore they asked me if I'm interested in working for a few weeks in India.
Well I can't believe that I managed to pull all the strings and juggle all those balls in the air.
I'm off to 3 weeks of personal vacation in south of India and afterward do some work for Sela in Pune.
Wish me luck!
Ariel
hmm, I get back just in time to attend Teched, no worries here :)
