Velocity crashes on windows 7
I installed velocity – The new distributed cache infrastructure by Microsoft on win XP machine and had no problems. When I tried to do the same on windows 7 (as an administrator) the installation failed to configure the firewall and the power shell tool crashed. This prevents the activation of the distributed cache service.
The new velocity CTP 4.0 is about to be released very soon. I hope it will support windows 7 better than today.
