Nice - but does not work for me in Chrome (21).

Still get the dreaded error: Origin http://localhost is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin

Tried this with both IIS and IIS Express.

IE does work if I use this in my ajax call:

$.support.cors = true;

The code above does clearly hit the controller, but seems to have no affect in Chrome.

Also tried adding to the web.config:

Still does not help Chrome.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks for that post.

However jqueryui's autocomplete is becoming kinda obsolete with Twitter's bootstrap framework. They have the typeahead that works pretty well. I was wondering if you can explain how to achieve the same with bootstrap typeahead.

i have create controller mention by in this code also made change in global.asax.cs ,but when i clicked on another-slug1 it display url like localhost/.../First but i want to display only http://localhost/test1/First ,please provide you solutions...
