Silverlight 4 Open House and Microsoft Israel and Sela HQ

Yesterday I had 2 great open houses – first at Microsoft Israel and second at Sela HQ. Thanks for all participants! I really enjoyed to present Silverlight 4 before such nice audience! Microsoft just announced the general availability of Silverlight for Symbian. This brings the Silverlight experience to the 20+ million users of Nokia S60 5 th edition Nokia 5800 XPressMusic and Nokia N97 devices. PDC09 Day 1 – Sketch Flow

Live blogging… Last session for today – and it is SketchFlow prototyping with Christian Schormann. The session is good, with very nice demos. Chris talking about SketchFlow in a nutshell - dynamic, interactive prototypes. For modern UX the static mockups are not enough anymore. After short and nice introduction he’s getting to the demos. Silverlight 3 will be released very soon . Many new features were added, many improvements were made. Silverlight 3 Release Date

According to this resource Silverlight 3 and Blend 3 will be released 10 July 2009 . Prepare yourself to move to the new version, prepare for breaking changes and migration from Beta to RTW :)   More to come, stay tuned! Alex

What’s new in Silverlight 3 at WDC (03 May 2009)

Silverlight 2 RC0 available

Microsoft has released RC0 developer preparation release. This release is for preparing current Silverlight 2 projects to RTW which will be released later this year. The release files (Visual Studio Tools, Blend, etc.) could be downloaded from here . One important note: This release should not be used for launching Silverlight 2 applications for the general public, so if you have publicly available Silverlight application you should wait for RTW .
