Microsoft Synchronization Services for ADO.NET. The package uses the SQL Server Compact Edition 3.5 to deliver it's ability to provide synchronization of data from disparate sources over two-tier, N-tier, and service-based architectures.The Synchronization Services API, which is modeled after the ADO.NET data access APIs, gives an intuitive way to synchronize data over tiers.The Synchronization Services for ADO.NET requires ADO.NET 2.0 on the client and server.
